Hi,
I checked the photo of your louvers and they appear to be in good enough shape to restore. What you can do is remove the black incerts that are held in place by 4 small pins. They can be tapped out but be gentle cause you don't want to break them off. Once you have successfully removed them lightly sand down the pitted areas and have them filled by someone that knows what they are doing. Then you have all four pieces rechromed. You can then paint them yourself and snap the pieces back together. Your total outlay should be under a hundred bucks. This beats paying through the nose for parts that may look half as good.

i've always wondered why someone didn't produce some re-pops of these, they seem like they'd be easy to make. _________________ NMCB 28 Seabee Battalion
