complete 390- C6 - 66-67 Headers - crossmember

I am thinking of going with a small block fuel injected 5 spd in the wagon and I will need to sell my big block stuff to do so. This is now in my wagon running and running good. It is a 390 .030 over with a small camshaft. It has the cobra lemans air cleaner and tall valve covers on it. the trans is a good smooth shifting C6. the headers are Hooker super comp 1 3/4 black headers, I just installed these when I put the car together in June. I have a factory ford C6 trann crossmember, and I have a real nice set of factory 1966 -1967 Fairlane big block frame stand with new motor mounts. I have everything need to put this in a small block 1966-1967 fairlane. I mean everything, turn key running. The car is a a vacuum secondary 650 Holley and runs great. I bought all of this out of a friends 67 mustang that went to a high HP stroker small block. I am located in franklin ky 42134, if anyone wants to come and take a ride or listen to it. I am needing some help, I have no idea what this is worth, so please let me know what it is worth or send me some offers on it. Here is a link to a picture of the motor......... http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m203/eatonmotorsports/DSCN0569.jpg Thanks, ask any and all questions.... Thanks, Jeremy

$201 + free shipping? Very Happy

J/K I'd say that it's probably worth about $1300 with the air cleaner and valve covers, and $1000 without. That's as a complete setup with a fairly fresh engine and tranny. Drop the prices about $500 if they're not so fresh. Just the engine without the mounts, headers, stock valve covers and no carb fresh is about $400-$500 and a pretty fresh C6 is probably $300.

With that yellow top coil, makes me wonder if it was a restored appearing engine for a S code mustang.

I'd be more generous than that, Larry. A tight 390 FE engine with a recent overhaul (I'd like to see receipts so I knew what parts went into the engine) the cleaner and covers ought to bring at least $1,500 if it has the right heads and block (no D2 stuff). You add the frame mount adapters, headers and all the other turn key stuff he want to go with the engine and I could see it as good value at $2k and wouldn't feel too bad at $2.5k without the other stuff, like the trans a crossmember... About right on the trans if it's a floor shift, a bit less for the column shift. The whole shebang will probably be good for 2,400 to $2,800 with the right parts. And, again, that would be a pretty good value as long as the parts were right. If the castings aren't of heritage and there is no paper trail, then it's not going to be a big draw.

I have decided to keep it. I have been talking to survival motorsports and i building my fairlane to have a 1960's stocker look. This engine came out of a pro golfers 1967 eleanor car that was shipped here from FL. to be redone back to a stock apperaing 67 fastback. I also have the wheels off of the car too. They are also on my wagon. He is loaded with money and din't want to shipp any of the left over parts back to FL. So to make a long story short I have a grand total of less than $700.00 in everytjhing and I bought the headers new ! This total is including the wheels , tires and his radiator. Nick said the car had less than 5K miles on it. Thanks, Jeremy
