63 tank

There is one on that 63 at my local yard, surface rust but, God knows what its like inside.
It would be a gamble to send it to you.
I think your way better off getting a new one

Only new ones available are the fiberglass repo's from crites.
I would worry about its longivity.
I have a good tank, was drained & stored dry.
Would be expensive to ship, hazardous due to the fumes I would tink.

Man, I kick myself for tossing the tank from my '63, it was in great shape too. Evil or Very Mad

No progress to report, it's too depressing to see others working on their when I can't work on mine.

I'm in the middle of my own "Extreme Garage Makeover - Larry Edition". I built a new bench up in my 8'x10' cubby at the front of the garage with a laundry tub on the end of it. I moved my outlets up to 48" and put double the duplex outlets in over the two single outlets I had. (Had 4 plugs, now I have 16.) Yeah, they're all on the same circuit, but since I'm the only one working I can only use one tool at a time anyways. I'm going to add a couple 220v outlets on a couple of 50A circuits and either run a CAT5 from the other end of the house or add a wireless router so I can put a computer in the garage. I've got to put a few coats of polyurethane on the bench top and paint the floor of the cubby and 2x4s, the 1x4 back splash and 1x2 nosing with the on clearance can of grey garage floor acrylic paint I picked up at Lowe's for $12. It should cover the floor and that wood, I put a coat of white paint on the wood and will put one more as a primer to keep the wood from soaking up so much grey paint. I'll paint all the walls and add some shelving as well. I've got to get better organized before I work on the Fairlane or Mustang.

Did you get my email on that "deal"?

Larry

Yes I just saw it, don't have the cash either.

Just ordered an S & W Race Cars 10 point roll cage. Hoping to get it installed in the next month.

I am almost done with body work on the shell, the quarters are both in primer, and the right side still needs blocked out a couple of times, and the roof has a couple of dings to attend to.

Sounds good on your garage though. I wish I could freshen up mine too. But alas I have too much s**t in the way!

Send those pics at your leisure.

Scott
