Thanks for letting me know. I am just glad you didn't take Scott66Gt's name. We really would like all the names to stay the same though makes it easier for everyone who is on board already. Kinda know who is who so to speak.

Archives?
I'm in too! Boy, I sure hope we can archive all the old posts off of the old forums. There was a lot of information that I needed on there. Will we ba able to get all that loaded on here somehow? if not, maybe a link to the old forums just for reference.

unfortunately i don't think we will be able to archive everything or anything onto here for that matter..
Basically lets start making new threads. It might be slow at first but it will grow fast I am sure.

Welcome
Hey Mike,
I'm not sure we can get ALL the posts from Woody's site captured. If we can't then maybe some kind of archive should be explored and should be doable.
I think I'm going to try something when I get home to see if there is a method of exporting the information in CSV format or something and capturing it in an excel spreadsheet. If I can do that then anybody can (provided they have M.S. office available).
BTW I'm from the Akron area graduated from U of A 1992.

Mark, that sounds great! Boy I was sweating bullits there. I had marked all kinds of posts with information that I needed and wanted. That was about 2 years worth of information that I lost that is contained in those old forums.
I'm not from this area. My company relocated me up here from Mississippi. Been here about 4 years now. Do you ever get back this way? I try to go to the Cruise-ins at Wink's Drive-in as much as I can.

weird
That's funny, I was working at Diebold down in Canton up until about 4 years ago. I've now been in the Maryland area for 3 1/2 years. I make it back a couple of times a year, but I'm not sure I'll be bringing my Fairlane back anytime soon. I will be trying to attend (maybe not participate) the Calisle show this year. I wanted to go last year but something came up.
Mark
P.S. I'll let you know if I can capture that data or not. It may be a lot of manual work, but I'll play around and see what I can find out and let everybody know. _________________ MET

Hey Mark,
I work for Diebold! I work at the Education Center in North Canton. You still with Diebold? I will be going to Carlisle this year. I'll be at the All Ford Show in June. Hope to see you there!

Hello Fairlane peolple! Im a new guy. Been trying to register to woodys site forever. He was not allowing anyone to register for some reason. I just bought my first Fairlane A 67 GTA/390 about a month ago and love it!
Ive always had Fords. Mainly Mustangs and Broncos. Got lots of Questions.
Hope we dont lose all the data from Woodys site. Its really helped me alot.
Thanks a bunch 67'fairlane500! _________________ 67 Fairlane GTA/390

I love this site. Rules need to be set. Hope the rules are little more liberal _________________ 1964 Sports Coupe 351w Rod & Custom Rack & Pinion

Check the announcement at the top of each forum. More of guidelines than rules. let me know what you think about them. _________________ Red 1967 Ford Fairlane convertible with built 289, 4.11s and T5!

thanks for the new forum. they might be a bit slow and not have the info that was on woody's site, but i am pretty sure woody had the same problem when he first started. the more people use the forums the quicker the info will be replaced. _________________ 66 hardtop downunder

Well, I'm here. I like the new bb code, which was the only real issue I had with Woody's site.
