460 Fairlane oil pan

I dropped the 460 in my 66 Fairlane and the oil pan sump is hitting the k member and the front of it is hitting the sway bar. I am using mounts from Dark Horse Performance. I believe the pan is from a truck. Cam someone tell me which pan I should be using? Maybe a passenger car pan. Help!!!!

I'm using a complet Canton setup on my '67 Fairlane with a 514 - pan, pickup, windage tray. All nice pieces and reasonably priced. I want to say the pan is an 8 quart with no dipstick and maybe part # 15-7501? Try www.cantonracing.com, but not sure if that's their website.

I'm just going off memory here, but I have all the part #'s at home if you need them.

Also, if my memory serves me correctly, the truck pan is a full sump; that's why it won't work.

Here's the link -

I'm using pan 15-750.

If you want the low buck approach, go with a passenger car front sump pan.

I have purchased a passenger car pan but I am thinking about ordering the Canton. It looks a lot nicer. Thanks.

Here's what the ground clearance looks like in my car. FYI - I have aluminum heads, intake, & water pump, have manual steering, no a/c, fiberglass hood, and am running Moroso trick front springs, so your front end may sit lower or higher...
