Hello to you all from a newb!!Check out my 'lane..

This is my Fairlane 500.This is my Dads original first car,so it is a one owner. It was bought here in Decatur Alabama, where i live. The dealer was BURSCH Ford.He drove this car everyday to work untill about 1981.I can remember when i was young that everyone thought the car was cool, and i was/am very proud of it.My dad dated my mom in this car,got married ,and went on honeymoon in it,brought me and my bro and sis home from the hospital in it...Then when i turned 16,i begged enough to get him to let me drive it... Cool So i worked and fixed the car up a little at a time...So in a nutshell this car means alot to me,.. Cool

He reciently gave me the keys to this "tresure" to keep forever..So i am going to try to restore this car like it should be..I will post pics of her soon..

So,i would like to say hello to everyone on here, cuz i'll be hanging out in here alot. Cool

Wow, very nice. My first car was an 87 Olds Calais with a six cylinder. It was nice, but I wish my uncle has given/sold me the Fairlane I have now, instead of letting it sit out in a field for 9 years without a hood. Ah well, good luck with your car, and welcome to the forums!

Your car is nice, but the history is priceless. Welcome!
