my 64 Fairlane project

my 64 Fairlane project

1 post, Thought I'd share some photos of my 64 I am curently working on. Should be finished sometime this summer. It will be a T-bolt-ish looking car with a front straight axle, 289 8V, 4 spd toploader and 9" N case with a Detroit locker and 4.56:1 gears

What AFR heads did you get? What kind of specs on your 289. Thanks.

heads are 185's 58CC. Comp Cams solid roller 288R cam, roller lifters and pro magnum roller rockers. Eagle H beam rods and Probe forged pistons. Comp ratio will be around 11.4:1. Original hipo crank and C5OE hipo balancer. Topped off with an original 66 Ford high-rise 2X4 intake and factory small block dual carbs C6OA-A list 3360 and C6OA-B list 3361.
