62's are different because the stainless runs down the fin, on a 63 the fin is solid with no stainless or clips. Thanks for offering though.

fin

If i can get enough people to buy parts, I have your fin, both if you want.
63 just driven into my local wrecker by "late" guys wife.
she wants $800 for whole car, now, i need windshield washer pedal, power steering pump, etc & some guys over at the Fairlaner want numerous parts too, if i can get enough guys to committ, I;ll offer her, say 400 bucks for the whole car.Good fenders, glass gauge cluster, radio, full caps, jack, grille, rear lights, back panel, light in trunk (option maybe?)etc.
motor is complete, with generator but she says its a 302
63 F;lane 500, but a 4-door ,side trim is perfect, but, probably only fits a 4-door except maybe front fender trim?

I need the right rear fin tip and possibly the trunk lid if it is not rusted out. What do you want for those 2 items. I have 2 62 fairlanes with lots of parts, and am willing to trade for those parts. Thanks!

The Bumpers have some slight surface rust. They will be easy to restore. A guy told me about a place in Richmond VA that would rechrome (fix dents) also for $125 a bumper. Has anyone heard of this place? I would like to know the name of the store.

parts

I don;t own this junkyard 63, but, if i get enough requests for parts i;m going to offer her whatever the sum adds up to.
Meaning if we get 3-6 guys who want 200 -300 bucks worth of parts plus my needs i;ll offer her 200-300 bucks for the car.
Or, as the guy in the yard said, just give it a couple of weeks & she will probably loose interest & tell the yard to part it out for her.
not trying to make money, just parts!!

In that junkyard 63, does the windshield look good (no scratches or pits)?
Besides the fintip, I could also use the trunk lid if it's not rusty and the molding strips on the trunk and around the gas door.
Can you get any pictures of the car? I could probably do $200 worth of parts. Does it still have the Fairlane500 emblems?

stuff

the junkyard 63 has near perfect glass, fenders, trim interior bits but, it is a 4-door.
I;ll give it a week or 2 & then stop in & i;m going to offer them 100 -200 bucks for the car

63 parts

OK, the junkyard 63 F;lane 500 i;ve been telling you about is going for parts.
either call them yourself, or if its something not to time consuming i will pull the parts for you ,for a nominal fee, of course!
404 Auto Wreckers - Mt. Albert, Ontario
Good - Glass all around & cranking mechanisms
V-8 emblems -but i;d re-do em
all side trim -4 door but im told the front fender side trim is the same as 2 door, better confirm this
Tail light buckets are ok
all black dash knobs - (except wiper switch, heh, heh)
Heater controls
Grille is good
some idiot bolted 2 back up lights to the panel that runs across the back between the tail lights.
Tell you what, i;ll take some pics of it & post.

Roger,
Does it have the front door inside fairlane 500 badges and if so are they in decent shape? Does it have the stock radio? Thanks!
