fairlane value 1966 500

i'm new to the sight. don't own a fairlane yet and process of buying one having problem with bank, my bank said it has to be appraised...well here it is, the car is pretty much solid all the way around except for some rust bubble on the passenger side door edges bottomcorners, interior is in good condition except for head liner. floor pans has no rust and frame rail no rust except for driver side torque box just need the plate cut out and new plate mig in...the motor is a 390 and the colom runs good...the guy is asking 7500 but i got him down to 6000...what is the value of this kind of car...thanks for any replies...

Could you post some pics? Kinda hard to tell a value without seeing it. Exactly why the bank is doing what they are doing. 6000, sounds pretty good, but it will be really good to get an appraisal done too. Works for the insurance as well.

I agree with 67fairlane500, get an appraisal done, they will give you what they beleive is a fair market value for the fairlane. Most people would have two values for their vechiles, one for if their selling it, and one for if they where buying another one just like it.
