390 in a 63

390 in a 63

I have the shock tower kit from Crites as well as the inner fender clearance panel for the headlight induction. Has anyone else done this? are there any major problems that i should be aware of?

I have a neighbour who has done this, his only comments were the Crities shock tower kit comes with the worst instructions ever!
he thought they would include some kind of pattern to know how much to notch towers.
But, it sure looks good with the 427 between the fenders.
He used their headers, air cleaner set up too.
I think he had to cut his rad support for intake.
i don;t think he knew they offered a kit for this mod.
I;ll be running in to him at Wednesdays cruise, If there are any specifics you need to know.
