Just about to cut on my 1967 bone stock Fairlane. I'm looking at two different front suspension packages.

One is from Rod & Custom, this is completely new setup that requires the removal of the shock towers but you gain rack and pinion in the process.

Other is from Fat Man fabrications. It will go to a strut and keep the shock tower.

Has anyone here ever used either of these and if so how do you like/dislike it?

I;ve installed the Fatman suspension on a 62, with P.rack & pinion & KRC pump
I notched the towers,(RRS notch kit) not necessary to install the Fatman kit, but great for access & header choices.
Handling, ride is like night & day difference. P.rack & pinion (Escort rack)steering is just amazing.
I did have some ride problems as my ride height is about 3-4" lower than stock, but, Fatman was there to help out
Fatman coil overs is a pretty easy install, no cutting necessary,
I gotta say, Fatman after sale service was just the best, one of the owners, Brett spent time helping me with ride height issues, hooked me up with Race Craft & for dropped spindles, which solved my ride issues.
Weeks after I got on the road, Brett called to see how everything worked out,

Thats the kind of info I am looking for. Used Fatman in the past on fifties Chevy stuff and it seems their service hasn't changed, still top notch.
