Bill I'll try & explain this better to you:
pull the wheel off, As you look back into the wheel well, see the seam that runs from top to bottom, feel along that seam, there are 3 bolt heads, undo them & that piece of metal, from the seam to the inner fender pulls out. If i recall correctly, you can now reach in there with a 3/8 or maybe its a 5/16's & undo that last trim clip.
The piece of metal that you took off, half of it holds a rubber seal that fills the gap from seam to inner fender, it stops road crud from getting up in there. Good time to replace it the rubber is rotting or sometimes missing altogether _________________ roger powell
