one wire alternator

Does any one know of a "ONE WIRE ALTERNATOR" for a 390? email me me at fredski53@gmail.com thanks, Fred

powermaster makes one
Or why not a 3G off a stang or other used Ford
go to madelectrical.com & look up one wire vs 3 wire alts too

95 amp 3g

it's the same size case as stock. Four wires, two just hook back to the alternator and mount (ground), so two wires to to the firewall. Madelectrical has great guides. You need a new "regulator" from them to replace the stock piece. The "regulator" is mostly empty because the alternator is internally regulated. The 135 amp 3g is a bigger case. The 95 is from generic 5.0l fox type mustangs. FWIW, Scott
