Z bar swivel replace?

I finally found a correct z bar that is in pretty good shape but the swivel is wore badly and has alot of play. These have some sort of permanent c clip on them . I have a bad z bar with a good swivel but how the heck would one go about removing it without damaging it and even if you did how could you reinstall it ? Any thoughts ? Mike

z-bar pivot

The "C" clip should pop off either with the proper tool or a flat blade screw driver and a sharp blow on open edge of the clip. I take it you are referring to either the frame or block side pivot assembly? Do you have a picture of what you have?
