borg warner trans????

borg warner trans????

Anyone know if a borg-warner 4 speed from a 65 289 mustang would fit in a 67 fairlane 289 3speed in floor with bench seat... Im hearing conflicting opinions?????? Ive been interest in a toploader 4spd but guy has a borg for 500.00 and says it would fit...Anyone??

with the right adapters...

Anything will fit... I do not know personally what is needed, you may need a specific bellhousing and/or shift rods... Spline may be different...
