63 parts wanted!
I am looking for the silver piece that screws in the the healdlight switch that holds it to the dash and the bezel in place. It is not like the 62's, it is about an inch longer. Is there any way to make the shorter 62 ones work? I have 2 really nice 62 pieces but they are too short and I am willing to trade if anyone needs one. I am also looking for an under dash wiring harness for my 63. I have a short or something because the park and brake lights do not work all the time. Thought it was in the new switch I installed but when I put the old one back in it still did the same thing. Thanks for any help.

The 62 ones are about an inch or a bit longer, the 63 ones are about an inch or more longer. They are noticibly different in lengths. Thanks

63 switch
I figure you mean the 63's are an inch longer?
I think i have the whole switch assembly stashed away. But, you just want the knob, dash insert? _________________ roger powell

Yes, I just need the threaded insert that holds it to the dash. The 63 is at least 2" long and is threaded half the way. Do you have a way to put a picture of what you have on here and I will tell you if that is it or not. If that is too much trouble don't worry about it. I need one to get my dash back together. The one I have has been removed so many times it is reamed out in the middle and a screw driver will no longer turn it. Thanks

hole size
Looking at my 2 63 headlight switches, i think they;re suffering from screwdriver abuse too, both look to be mangled inside, i wouldn;t think they;re much better than what you have. _________________ roger powell
