1967 master disc/drum manual needed
1967 master disc/drum manual needed
I have a 67 289 and i did a disc brake conversion and now need to put the right master in for a non power manual set up. I hear that some fit from early ford trucks but have no idea of part numbers or year trucks used. Definetly has to be a bolt on and go with zero mods to master ,car, or pedal. Thank You!

My recollection is you would be looking for a 1988 or so Ranger (the small truck) master. You should now be able to search this forum using ranger master cylinder to get some reading material. I do believe you will have to bend up some new lines out of the master, though.

1974 Maverick manual master should fit. May have to mess with fittings and reflare tubing unless you buy from NAPA. Most of theirs come with fitting adapters.

I used a Mustang II manual disc/drum. The lines exit on the left (towards the apron), but had to adapt the front line down to the 3/16th line.
Used the factory Fairlane brake rod. _________________ Scott
