Tagic stories-Haiti

Tagic stories-Haiti

Had to actually switch off CNN as the devistation & the shots of people trapped or wandering in shock just got to be to much to watch,
Help & workers seem to be a long time getting to Haiti,
The local government seems to be just a few guys including the Prime Minister wandering around looking for help too.
You would think, after all the Hurricanes, Tornadoes that have hit Haiti in the past, they would have some kind of emergency plan in place,
But, the local government seems to be totally unable to do anything & is waiitng for the USA to come to the rescue, which they are.
I don;t mean to sound callused or cold, but, a friend of mine just returned form visiting friends in N.Orleans & says, that N.Orleans is still a disaster area, with pockets of people working here & there trying to put their lives back together. He called it, the forgotten zone in USA,
It does look like Haiti will have the Worlds support, for a long time to come,
