just bought a 64 Fairlane for $700
Just bought a ford Fairlane for $700, 260 auto, 4 door, and my question is as I start to restore it, what other seats or covers fit the 64?
Are they the same as falcon?
It runs and drives but needs a new master cylinder, and seat and headliner.
I plan on doing all the wheel cylinders.

Yes I bought a 4 door and just spent $60.00 on it and it runs and drives now, and had 3 people wanting to buy it already... another $550 and it will be done..

Hi:
I also own a 4 door 64 fairlane. It is posted under members pictures, and yes I restored it. It is the plain fairlane not the too many made fairlane 500. "DIME A DOZEN" I have won 2 second place trophies for best of show. Unheard of for a 4 door. HEY! I look at it like this, someone has to love them or they will be in the junk yard as scrap and gone forever. So enjoy your 4 door.

my wife & I just bought a `63 Fairlane 4dr. we are looking at using seats from a Granada, they are close to the same size.
we were lucky like you only paid $300, we've had it a month now and it runs and drives. had to change engines/trans used a 302/C4 from a `79 Granda.
are you going to restore yours or just build a fun driver, ours is a fun driver.
Good Luck! _________________ KEEP ON CRUISIN'!

I don't think you'll find a perfect fit from any other vehicle. Of course, seats from a Meteor would work.
You can get seat covers from any of the major parts suppliers (MACs, Dearborn, or Auto Krafters). However, I would recommend having a good upholstery shop repair them. _________________ Kyle Lehrmann

I just bought a 4 dr. yesterday. I would sell the whole car as is or parts. Not running at the moment but the body is very solid, just a slight dent in the RR quarter. If any of you 4dr. owners are interested, let me know.

Chrylser seats??
If you go over & cruise fordmuscle.com i think its under forums -Fairlane,
or maybe under tech heading, i can;t remember
a guy found seats out of a Chrysler something, le baron maybe??
And, they fit like they;re made for the F;lane according to him
There was a pic of the chrysler rear seat in a 63 F'lane & it looked quite good. _________________ roger powell
