64 T-Bolt clone (new pics 10-10-09)
Here's my current project. A '64 Fairlane 500 2 door sedan. It's a nice rust-free body with all original sheet metal. I have the Crites tower kit completed, as well a 9-inch & front disc brakes. The drivetrain is complete and ready to install. A dual quad 427 Tunnel Port and big-spline Toploader 4-speed.

Kewl!!
Street car or race car?
I'm building a drag only '63 post car as a sort of 'proto-clone'. I was going to do a Zimmy tribute, but now I'm thinking of building a car that looks period correct from the stands, but that has all the modern technology.
The paint will be Corinthian White, which my car (L-code 3-spd car) originally was, and the most period correct wheels I could find that look like Motor Flys (Bogart Drag-On Star III) and are really light weight. _________________ Larry Hampton

It'll be a street car that may see some track time. My goal is to make it as visually accurate as possible.

Tomorrow it gets a new headliner, and then the windshield and Lexan backglass installed.

Man, that car is beautiful! I have been wanting to build one of these for years, and I would build it just like this. Have the 427, but sold the tunnel port heads and intake that I had, and now I'm regretting it.
