It's not a Fairlane.
and as I had to keep telling those idiots, its not a COMET EITHER!
I thought everybody who attended high school could read the difference in the words.
Comet
and
Meteor
The words dont look alike and neither do the cars!!! _________________ John Creager

Makes we wish I'd have kept mine!
Yup, for years everyone referred to my Fairlane as a Falcon... Used to drive me nuts. Hell, I even had one guy call it a Falcon at a car show when it was setting right next to a Falcon.
Really nice Meteor!

Thanks, I have Rod and Customs front disk on it, Sway bar kit front and rear. new shocks, big drums on the rear end. GT- 40 iron heads, Edelbrock torker intake and a Crane cam, electric cooling fan, changed to a one wire alternator. Right now have the interior in the spare bedroom. Needs abunch of work, but for a car the wife bought me its not bad.
This is my 3 Meteor all of them being 2dr hts. two were S-33's one with a factory 4 speed. this one just being a Custom is great as it leaves the door wide open to building a really fast car.
When we brought the car home, changed oil, changed the carb added hoses and coolent and with a bit of elbow grease it started suppose to have been setting for 15 years.
Best $1000. my wife has spent on me!! _________________ John Creager
