67 rear disc brakes
Anybody do a budget price rear disc brake conversion on a 1967 with power brakes? I already have discs in the front.
Thanks _________________ Black 67, 3514V Cleveland

You can buy a brand new explorer kit through Ford Motorsport I think. As far as wrecking yard picking I would look for 95 and up Explorer and I think 96 or 97 up Crown Vic. _________________ Steve 64 S/C big brakes 8.8 rear 289 lentech AOD, strut front suspension

Ace,
If you are still looking, ignore the info about Explorers etc. It is WRONG! They are large bearing setups and you need small bearing.
You want 91-2002 Crown Vic, Grand Marquis, or Town Car. Two slighty different types in the range here, 91-95 and 96-02. Same princicple, just cost reduced parts in the later ones and minor design change on caliper mounts. Same size rotor and piston so braking will be about the same for the most part.
I have one set of pulled 96 brakes, and I also offer the spacers you need to make these fit properly! Kits are different from the early to the later, so I need to know the type of brakes you have, or the year of the donor.
You can do the whole thing for about $300ish.
