My dad is a fanatic of these cars, he has a 79' that he drives to run around locally, loves the gas mileage. It looks absolutely terrible, both fenders flap, the paint is half faded off, the rubbers are gone around the door, and I could go on and on. I think he gets a kick out of people looking at him going down the road in it more than anything.

Here is my 73 Pinto that we built in 1985 302 with a 4sp. I still drive the car and when I have it out more people want to chat about the car then when I am in my Fairlane. I guess you just do not see them much anymore.

Pinto's are cool cars. One ol' guy locally used to build a couple of V8 Pinto's every year.He had a hillside full of Pinto bodies behind his house. He drag raced and had some pretty awesome Pinto's.
