CRITES OR FPA IN A 67
I am doing a 521 stroker for my 67 and I don't know which header to use. I hear the FPA's fit nice but the tube size ( 1 3/4") I think will be too small to support the HP ect. Any thoughts and or pictures someone can share?

It all depends on how your car sets . If it sets low the Crites headers are gonna suck . I have a set of the FPA headers on my 66 and they are the finest header I have ever installed as far as the fitment goes . I have a set of the Crites headers on 66 Galaxie and they hang down 3 inches from the body ,the collectors point in different directions and they are made from very thin wall tubing but they do have larger tubes and are alot cheaper . _________________ 1966 Gt , Tahoe Turquoise , 35143 miles

I talked to Stan with FPA and he said these headers will support up to 600 HP, I will be over that and that is what has me concerned.

He makes them for FPA, same product, the tubes were to small for what I need.
