According to my info., the exhaust port
size on your little 260 is the same size as the ports
on 351 Windsors, therefore, the manifolds should fit the heads.
As far as other physical features such as overall size, turns and
bends, and flange outlet position, all you can do is pull one of your
old manifolds and position the 351 manifold to the head and see if
you have clearance issues. It is highly unlikely the exhaust pipe flange position would be the same, therefore requiring replacement of exhaust pipes.
As for the reason for such a swap, the only reason I could even guess that you would want to do this would be for an increase in power. That said, you don't have much of a platform to start with in a meager little 260. With all the effort and cost to do this swap, and for maybe an increase of 5 hp, I would consider headers long before changing to another style of manifold, even though the 351 manifold is more free-flowing.
For performance, I would consider a 302, which should fit in the engine bay that the 260 sits in, with only the transmission bolt up (5bolt 260 vs 6 bolt 302 bellhousing) being the major issue.
To sum it up, yes, they will bolt up to the heads, but, is it worth it ??
NO in my opinion. Not for the cost and effort.
Good luck in whatever your decision. _________________
