69 disc brake screws!

Does anyone have any ideas where a person can get replacement large headed straight slot screws that hold on the dust sheilds and the caliper covers on the stock disk brakes for a 1969 Fairlane???

If you have a decent 1 as an example, you might try your local fastener store. I've had very good sucess with this method of replacement in the past.

I'm pretty sure I replaced mine. I restored the car in '99 and I'm pretty sure I bought the caliper retainer covers and screws from Napa. I'm working from 10 year old memories but I'm pretty sure all of the stuff, minus that shield with the scoop on it, was part of a caliper hardware kit.

I bought the whole kit, but they didn't come in the kit!

I think your best option was mentioned above. My rebuild kit came with new shields but I had to reuse the fasteners. I would check McMaster and some local specialty fastener stores. I know McMaster often offers the dimensioned design on their website.
