If I put a 302 in a 63 Sports Coupe, will I have any problem with putting on headers? Also, which make of headers are best for sound and horsepower? Which model of flowmasters is the loudest?

The only ful length header i know of that fits for sure are the Hooker Super comps #6134;s.
changing plugs is a real pain & use the best ex. manifold gasket you can cause you don;t want to have to take em off once they;re on.
If i remember right, the driver side goes in from the top, the pass. side from the bottom with the motor mount bolt lose & engine jacked up a couple of inches. could be the other way round?
I;ve got old flowmasters on right now that emit a drone at cruising that tends to get old real fast.
i had to loose my crossover pipe when i did a trans. change & they;re really loud now.
would like to hear from others on muffler choices
Shortys are way easier but i don;t know a brand that fits.
