14" wheel over Granada Swap?
Will stock Fairlane 14" wheeels fit over the Granada brakes and calipers? I just thought of this while at work. I'm wondering if I should stop after work and pick up a 15" steel wheel for my spare? I have Weld Pro Stars, 15" on the Granada spindles. _________________ Doug Bender

14" wheels
the only 14" wheel that will fit the Granada swap is the Am. racing rally wheel if you really want a 14" wheel that is. _________________ roger powell

14"
Test fit ANY 15" wheel first! I did the Granada swap on a 57' Ford. The Ford/Mercury turbine wheels I used to move it back n forth did NOT work well with those wheels.

Thanks!
So, I guess the Granada stock well is 15" diameter? A spare wheel should be added to the parts list on the sites that cover the Granada swap. _________________ Doug Bender

All Granadas had 14" wheels. The issue is the size of the pilot hole in the center of the wheel. Any late model (1972? & newer)14" wheel will work. I am using early 15" wheels on my car and I just had the center hub on the Granada rotors machined down to fit the ealier wheels. There is plenty of material to do it.

You will need to check and see what type of wheel you are using!
If stock steelies with hub caps, then no, your rims will not fit the "corporate" hub size.
If you have ralley rims, then the answer is maybe. I had a 68 Cougar ralley wheel that I was using for test fitting on my rear disc brake conversion using Crown Vic parts, and it, much to my surprise, had a large center!!!???? No cutting required!
So check accordingly....
