Window height adjustment - Vol. II

Here are some pictures of the gap on my passenger window. It has about a 1/8"-3/16" gap and I'm not sure what to do to close it. I have the service manual and follwed the procedure they outlined. I must be missing something? Any help?

cranky window

First let me say, if I repeat any procedure you have already done, sorry, no insult implied, take the door panel off...duh...I know you did already....by hand, push the bottom of the window up so it closes, look for weak points in the connecting levers that might show signs of sagging, sagging from metal fatigue(rust) or possibly the big crank gear has some worn teeth and slipped back a couple so the window stops too soon, without a deffinite solution that happens only on your year car, your gonna just have to play with it looking for what should be an almost easy to spot problem, and either you'll end up making an adjustment by unbending a rod/lever, realigning the crank gear, or just replacing internal parts. Not alot here to go wrong. Hope I helped a little.
