There's a Savoy in a yard about a mile from me. Ugly car beyond imagination. But it's unique enough to have some appeal. But the car is about as simple as an anvil...and has only slightly more moving parts.

didn't realize the slant six went back that far. always heard good things about those engines from my dad, who is an engine rebuilder by trade, and he does not care for dodges. i totaled my car when i was 16, just driving too fast on a curvy road; for punishment, my dad bought me a granny-fied 79 dodge diplomat that i had to drive for a year before i got something else, i was so embarassed of it. but it had a slant six in it and it was a good running little engine, had a ton of miles on it yet pulled the car fine and got good gas mileage. but the car wasn't exactly a lady-killer Wink

only mine had faded baby blue paint on it and a vinyl top that was cracked open everywhere Confused

Does it have LH threads on the left wheels studs? I remember back in high school shop class, one of my classmates twisted off all the studs on his Grampa's Dodge, because he didn't know about the backwards threads.

Hy guys! Thanks for all the kind words Very Happy !

My daughter ain't driving a great deal yet, partly 'cuz she only has a permit & partly 'cuz her '61 is having a few long overdue repairs performed (cracked windshield, cracked exhaust manifold, heater gremlins) but she loves it!

I think the '64 is gettin' nervous being surrounded by so many MOPARS though Laughing !!!
