Radiator for 67 200 CI

Hi all! I have a dilema. I was told that the original radiator for my 67 is toast and can't be repaired. The cost of a new one is $185.00 which isn't too bad, but I'm not certain I should go through with buying it because I eventually want to put a small block v-8 in the car. Should I drive the car another year with a crappy radiator, or buy the part? I would go ahead and buy the radiator for the v-8 swap now but I hear all the hoses are backwards and stuff like that. Anybody have any other ideas?

I went ahead and ordered the radiator for the six. I would love to put a small block in her eventually, but for now the pressure is off!

IT DEPENDS ON WHAT SMALL BLOCK YOU ARE WANTING TO INSTALL. THE 289 AND EARLY 302 HAVE THE WATER PUMP OUTLET ON THE PASSENGER SIDE BUT IF YOU ARE GOING WITH A LATER 302 OR 351W OR C THE WATER PUMP OUTLET IS ON THE SAME SIDE AS YOUR 6 CYL. RADIATOR WHICH IS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE.I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SAME DELIMA RIGHT NOW . I HAVE A SMALL BLOCK CAR WITH A 1970 351C IN IT AND I PUT A MAKE SHIFT RADIATOR IN IT TO GET ME BY BUT I WOULD LIKE TO GO WITH A MORE ORIGONAL LOOK.GOOD LUCK.
