some stuff at my dad's place........

just snapped a few pics of stuff at my dad's junkyard. i really hate the way it has grown up on him. years ago he kept it bush-hogged, but he made the mistake of filling in his lanes with other cars and couldn't get around the place anymore.

What's the story on the 73 Stang? I've always liked that body style.

Cool place to have

I love "junk yards" What are the plans for those cars? Are any restorable?

the mustang had a vinyl top, and has some pretty serious rust around the roofline. supposed to have a good running windsor in it, though. i was always curious, how do you tell a 71, 72, and 73 mustang apart?

From what I can tell, 71 and 72 had horizontal turn signals in the grille, where the 73 had vertical ones (like in the picture). That's all I could come up with last night while trying to figure it out.

lol, i love walking around old junkyards and looking, too. i get a kick out of walking people around his place, love to talk fords. i've talked him into putting the 64 wagon on ebay, it's a whole car and he just busted that side window out a few weeks ago, it hasn't been raining in the car for years and years. i've gotta get that cyclone off the ground, too, and get those bucket seats out for myself.

we're going to fix the black falcon in the above pic. anyone know of a disc brake conversion (similar to the granada/maverick swap for fairlanes) for 62/63 falcons? that body style was my favorite as far as falcons. also, is there a 9" that will bolt right under that car, or at least be the right length?
