I don't know how much help this is but a 66 2dr ht had a curb weight of 2997 lbs. In a book that I have it says the weights for a 65 varied from 2806lbs for a 2dr sedan with a 6 cylinder up to 3412 lbs for a v8 powered 4dr station wagon. If all else fails you could try and get your car weighed at a local business that has a weight bridge.

I would suggest that you just go to your local transfer station...they should let you know.

Also, find out what the rating...i guess what I mean is where the cut offs are and how much is it for each class. I highly doubt they will sit down and scrutinize every single weight. Although it is WA, and sometimes I am surprised that our cars are still allowed on the roads.

3000 lbs is a pretty good number, but if that is the start of a new weight class 2997 it is.

Why do they want this? My Fairlane is titled as a collector vehicle and I am running my 67 plates. I am just curious as to why they would ever care. But like you said..."The great state of Washington."

I was just reading about it on the WA DOL page...you are under the 4000 lbs...so 10 bucks it is.

Couldn't find any info if I had to pay the 10 bucks though.

Ya, you should see all the cars heading north into vancouver during afternoon rush hour, after they get off work in oregon, with oregon plates.

66 Fairlane GT weight

Howdy. My 66 Fairlane GT, 390, 3 spd manual, no power anything, is right on about 3500 lbs with 1/2 tank of gas. From the local stone quarry scales. Hope this helps, Scott

Car only

Howdy. The 3500 is the car only, I already subtracted out my weight. I don't have my other resources right now but when I weighed it 3500 was about what I was expecting based on the reference books.
