I have a '72 Corvette. Just finished overhauling the differential and rear suspension. Weather has been so poor and my time so short that I've barely had a chance to take it or the Fairlane out in the past couple of months.

my father has a 66 impala 2 door hardtop that he wants us to eventually fix as an SS clone, but i'm not really motivated to work on it, lol. it's a pretty bad basket case, the floorpans and both quarters need replacing, and we have to find a set of bucket seats and a console. he already has a hi-po 327 for it that came out of an early 60's vette. i personally like the 67 better. _________________ NMCB 28 Seabee Battalion

Been working on a '49 studebaker champion for a few years now. Doing it up gasser style. I just dropped in a nasty little 302 that I built and a t-5 trans. I have a ford 8" rear in it now, but I'll switch to a 9" when I get a chance. It should weigh about 2500 lbs when it's done, so it should really get up and go. _________________ Sha. 389 3 deuces, 8 lug wheels, factory tinted glass. They finally gave it to me after a tree fell across the truck. Last licensed in 1976. the only rust in on the factory installed padded top, they tried to get GM to fix it back in 1966 and of course GM refused.
Plus a 63 Mercury Meteor 2drht,
No its not a COMET!

Geez, where do I start?
When I get home, I'm going to put some finishing touches on my '67 F'lane hardtop. Think I'm going to yank the motor, put a 4.5" crank in it (557"), drop compression to 11:1, more streetable cam, recover seats, paint job.
Next will probably be the '71 GTX - needs paint, interior, and will probably freshen the engine, too. Super straight car with some great options.
Will probably tackle the '66 F'lane convt next - paint, interior, freshen engine. Another super straight car.
After that I think it's time for the '69 GTO. Paint, interior, rebuild engine while I'm at it.
After that probably time to tackle the '66 SS396 Chevelle. She's going to look great done - Aztec Bronze is a beautiful color.
Next will be the two GTO Judges - one is complete and unmolested but in need of a fair amount of body work. Other is straight and rust free, but missing the engine.
I think that's it... I should be done by 2020 or so...

I have an 84 Dodge Ramcharger that I'd work on if I had money to spare, and I also have a 76 Honda CB550. _________________ 1967 Fairlane 500, 302 V8, Toploader transmission. Maybe I'll eventually get it on the road.

Yeah, my $300 1968 Dodge crew cab is at a bud's garage gettin' it's 727 tranny rebuilt. The old 383 runs real good, I'm the third owner and I got it for 1/2 price from the elderly hippy owner just 'cuz I was wearing my Jimi Hendrix shirt.
When I first dropped it off my at bud's shop he said, "Man! That thing is so ugly it's gonna lower my property value !".
He called me a week later and said he'd moved it behind his shop 'cuz five guys stopped and tried to buy it !
