Bucket seats with either a custom made console or find a console from another car that fits and looks good. _________________ 66 hardtop downunder

seat choices
If stock is not sacred to you
Have a look in import section for an Accura type R & check out the bucket seats
not only are they 100x more comfortable than stock, you get lumbar support, 6 way adj backs, seat adj.
The scale of buckets, size is much more stock looking than factory buckets too
And the only mod to install em is drilling one hole for front left mounting stud! other 3 line up
I couldn;t find black or red so just had em re-done with Accura stock red pleather which is so close to F;lane red its uncanny _________________ roger powell

VW Golf seats are real nice too. They have sort of a recess in the back, so long legged rear seat passengers have more leg room, especially if you mount them further rearward if you're long legged as well. Also, the seats pivot is more forward than just the base of the seatback, so there's more room to get to the back seat.
If you want Ford seats, you can't got wrong with Mustang buckets. _________________ Larry Hampton

alternatives
Actually, if you want to stay ford, Escort LX buckets are much cooler than the Stangs
Better support too.
But, do look in import section, they seem to be a better scale for size in our F;lanes
Accura, Honda Accordcoupes, 240SX are nice too
But, the Accura Type R's look like an aftermarket pro seat
I can send pics to you? _________________ roger powell

Which type-r did they come from, the integra? Just trying to clarify as i'm told honda used the type R badge on a few different cars.
