Fairlane modification project

Smile I've been away, living and working in the Phoenix area and I don't get home too often. My Fairlane 500 has been sitting so I decided that it was time to get the major mods done. I don't cut and weld so the work had to be farmed out. On October 1st, the car went to Julians Collision Center http://www.sn65.com/ to have a power rack and pinion/coilover suspension installed, then a new engine http://www.proformanceunlimited.com/specs/460_425drop.html with a serpentine alternator/power steering pully kit http://www.conceptonepulleys.com/ford429.htm
I expect to get it back at Christmas (what a Christmas gift that will be)
I'm interested in your thoughts on the project.
Best

Martin What make of rack and pin did you use? Was it a direct bolt in?

It is a Heidt's and it definitely is not bolt in.
The crossmember will be replaced with a new one.
It fits down over the rails and then is welded in place.
Way out of my league. That's why it went to Julians
