Try NAPA or whatever
Howdy. Sometimes it's amazing what the local auto parts places have. Try NAPA, Autozone, Carquest, or whatever local place you have. I've found that often I can get Moog parts at "list" price, maybe $60 each, just as a part in stock or with a one day order time. Works great for my '66 Fairlane! That does seem really high. Did you try your local auto parts store? I paid less than $20.00 a piece for mine but I live in the states too so that might make a big difference. _________________ '68 Fairlane 500 sportroof, 428CJ, close ratio toploader, 9" detroit locker, 31 spline axles, 3.50 gears.

Several years ago, I checked with NAPA - not available.
Auto Zone was able to furnish the parts through their vintage parts supplier. I believe the price was around $60.00.
PST furnished a set for my other Fairlane.

Darren did you try Rare Spares,RRS, Autostop,or BNT. The other option would be to see if they are the same size as either a falcon or a mustang tie rod ends, they would be cheaper and more readily available. You would think the 63 fairlane parts would be readily available in aussie as they where the same body shape as the US built fairlanes. _________________ 66 hardtop downunder

the only place so far that ive found them is american auto parts....i think in ballarat, victoria Australia
they were 165 ea
rare spares i havent tried and could be a good option.....im also thinking that i might check if our local Xr falcon would fit thats a 66 model so the yanks know.
if anyone in a spare shop in the us would you mind just having a ask if they are available.....
I did try Macs on the website but couldnt find any listed....
thanks for all your replies
