toploaders

Are toploaders from galaxys and mustangs interchange with fairlanes

depends on which year Fairlane and toploader. Toploaders came in 24" & 27" lengths (25½" for 64 -65 Fairlane) Also they have a 25, 28 & 31 spline shaft. Which T/L you looking at and for what Year car?

By all means, carefully do your research on David Kee's site. While the basic trans may interchange, the tailshaft housing will have to be changed for the shifter location. All the different chassis designes used different tailshaft housings.
