Low Vacuum

My current project is a 69 Torino, that I have installed a 351 Cleveland, C6 trans, and P/S and P/B's. All item's worked against me when it came time to install headers, so I ended up having to use Sanderson's.
My problem is that with a high lift long duration cam in the engine, I don't have enough vacuum to operate the brake booster and the transmission.
Has anyone tried to use the pressure from the power steering pump, to operate the brake master cylinder?
I would be interested in exchanging notes on this subject.

booster

i take it you're thinking of hydro boost. i was looking into this as well.

i did a search and found a maverick guy who did it real cheap. and i mean a lot less than the summit conversion. i dont have the link handy but i bet you can find thru maverick forums.

in my case, the cast allum. valve covers sill not clear booster. headers are an issue too. but they seem to work okay now. so i have the old stamped valve covers.

you can also use a vacuum canister/pump assembly kit. not sure $$ but i believe available thru summit. check it out.

the other opiton, is lose the power brakes.?

maybe somebody else can chime in here.
