'67 Galaxie pedal setup interchangeable w/ Fairlane?

I have a chance at buying a locally available '67 galaxie parts car, and would like to know if the clutch/brake pedal assembly is the same as a '66-'67 fairlane. The car is an original stick car, but i do not know if it was a 3 or 4 speed. It should make no difference in the pedal setup correct? Thanks, Will

Won't fit. Nor will Mustang pedals. And for Fairlane pedals, 66 and 67 use the same pedals, but different mount support brackets, then everything changed for '68 and on. And in reality, all you need is the clutch pedal since there is no difference in the support bracket between auto and manual cars and you can trim the brake pedal to fit the manual pad. It's best if you can buy a complete assembly, though, since you need the clutch assist spring and the spring bracket unless you're going with a diaphram clutch.

I've got a chance at getting just the clutch pedal. I know that with mustangs of the era, it is possible to just simply add in the pedal on your existing pedal assembly and trim the brake pedal so the smaller pad will fit over it. Is this possible to do with a Fairlane pedal assembly?

Yes, same deal...as long as you have a Fairlane clutch pedal. Reread my original reply. Makes sense to put new nylon bushings in the support while you have it apart. They're cheap.

Doh! My rereading your original post would have been smart. Sorry about that. I think I've read somewhere on here that 66 67 68 falcon pedals are the same as the fairlane. I did a search and was unable to come up with where I read it so I would just like to confirm this? I've got a good deal lined up on pedals, but dont want to take the chance on them not being correct. Thanks for all the help.
