63 Battery Apron

I need a battery apron for our 63. Ours like nost has been eaten by acid and rotted through.
If you have one or at least the bottom of one in good shape please let me know.
Untill I find one my bodyman is at a standstill.
Thanks Ed

More on apron

I did buy and was highly dissapointed in the part, Crites's repair piece for the apron. It looked like a elephant had tried to bend metal. It did not fit at all was not near the same shape and went into my scrap metal bin with discust...
So If you have a parts car I need your parts.

Look in the latest Fairlaner,
Latest issue, they install one in a car & give it a great review
Can;t remember who they bought it from, but it was an aftermarket supplier, maybe Dearborn?
Lent my copy of The Fairlaner out to a friend

Dearborn has them!!!!! Thanks

For all of you like me have a great car but someone has left a old battery in it for years and the acid has taken it's toll on the apron, Dearborn has the complete Battery Apron. It is part # IFA62B and the cost is $99.95

I hope this helps somone else out.

So should I cut out the one in my car and put it up for sale? It only has surface rust, I'd drill out the spot welds to remove it. It is at least an original panel from an unwrecked car.

battery apron

The battery apron it the area in the pictures above from the spring tower to the header panel. It is welded in and prone to rust as battery acid from a leaking battery drips all over it and rots it out.
