My nephew has a bad driving record, One dui, 2 speeding and one at fault accident with injurys,He now plans to get his license back so he can drive to school. What kind of money will it take for minimum insurance coverage. I think he has about 18 drivers points, In NORTH CAROLINA. Any answers are apreciated

Maybe this is too obvious, but has he considered contacting an insurance agent?
Too many vairables (did you know that your credit rating also influences your insurance rate?) but no doubt he'll go under a county mutual policy if he can be insured at all and it will cost a lot.

best rate
I suggest changing his name & buying fake i.d.
Here in Ontario he would not get insurance.
I know guys with DUI's ,the only way they could get back on the roads, and this is kind of a scam that is probably going to hurt us all,
is to buy a 20 yr.old or older car & insure it as a classic. _________________ roger powell
