351W swap into a 1962 Fairlane

Location: Georgia		 351W swap into a 1962 Fairlane

I have found that that exhaust mainfolds won't clear the shock towers. Do they make a header that will allow for this swap ???? Thanks RW Question

I am not 100% positive about this, but i think you should check out Crite's Restoration. I think they have the shock tower kit you are after. Just click on Crite's.

I'm restoring a 1962 Fairlane Sports Coupe also. I would like to put in a 351w but am hesitant because of the headers. Is it possible or do I need to go w/ a 302? Cool

Location: ontario, canada		 shock tower kit

If you;re not going with a Mustang 11 front suspension then as stated above order the Crities shock tower kit for clearance & save yourself a ton of trouble slippng that 351 with headers in your 62
