early dizzzys

early dizzzys

Hi all,
Is there any differneces between pre 65 dizzy's and post65??
I have Two and they have similar bodies but different oil pump drive sizes??
My 63 one has the oil fill in the front of it.

If you're referring to an FE distributor, there is only a difference between the heavy duty truck and car. The pilot and the hex drive are larger on the truck distributor. If this is not an FE engine, then I have no idea.

Could the later one be out of a 351w? They use a larger oil pump drive.
