1963 Fairlane 500 For Sale Jackson TN
This isn't my car, nor am I affiliated in any way with the carlot that has it, but I thought I'd post it just in case someone might be interested.
It's a 1963 Fairlane 500, blue exterior (was rolled on with a paint roller, bottom of pass. fender by door looks like swiss cheese, maybe a five inch circle). Interior probably needs to be totally redone. It's an auto, and while the guy said it was a 289, the door code says (if I read it right on Woody's page) that it has a 221. The car doesn't look TOO bad, but it needs quite a bit of cleaning up, and other stuff done. But it apparently is driveable, and it starts up fine and idles once it's warmed up. Idle sounded a little rough, maybe the carb is dirty or idle is set low. I dunno. Appears to have an 8 inch axle. No hump on the back of the pumpkin, it was smooth all across with a plug in the middle.
They're asking $2,495, but that seems high to me.
If anyone's interested, I can PM an address and phone number.
Codes are:
Body: 54B

VIN: 3K42L109972 _________________ 1967 Fairlane 500, 302 V8, Toploader transmission. Maybe I'll eventually get it on the road.
