My '64 Fordor 500 got new shoes

Evil or Very Mad HEY ! How come ya'll moved and didn't leave me a forwarding address Wink Very Happy Cool !?!

I finally got my $60 flea market Cragar Star Wires on my Fairlane last week.

I got a nice set of gently used Bridgestone 205/70s thrown on 'em for $100 out the door.

(I may wind up putting 185/70s on the front though 'cuz the 205s are rubbing a little Rolling Eyes .)

Back in March I bought a Pertronix electronic ignition off ePay for sixty bucks and all I can say is WOW !!!

The dang thing installed in like twenty minutes and has dramatically increased my fuel mileage over my points !!!

With gas prices as high as they are now I bet the Pertronix has already paid for itself !

I had all new dual exhaust (pipes from manifold on, glasspacks, chrome tips) installed back in February and my new headliner is sitting in a box by my gun cabinet waiting to be joined by new front and rear windshield condoms.

I still need a new package tray, bushings of every sort, carpet and a few other things ( PAINT !!! ) but any teenager will tell ya chrome tip and rims are the important things Very Happy Cool Wink !

Yep, chrome tips and rims make the car, definitely!

It looks very nice, and I'm sure it'll only get better with time. Good luck!
