Speedo cable length

I hate to have my first post one where I'm asking for something. But....

I'm swapping a 4 speed into my 67 HT. And I never even thought about the gear hole is on the opposite side of the tranny. So what I need to know is. What is the new length I need to run the cable? I've check AutoKrafters and Dearborn classics, and they're vague on which it should be.

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I should have added that I have a 289, and the trans was suppost to be from a 66 390 gt. I guess that puts me in the 63" range. I do know the 3 speed and the C4 have the hole on the same side (drivers). With the 4 speed on the pass. side.

When I did the four speed from C6 swap in my '67 390 Fairlane, I went to NAPA and ordered a cable.
