headers for 63 fairlane

headers for 63 fairlane

I was thinking of using Doug's Headers D662Y-R in my 63 I have the towers notched crites kit with a 351 w does any body have any experience with this one any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Bob

header choices

I;ve heard they are a great fit but haven't tried Dougs headers
With notched towers you do get a much wider choice of headers, after notching with the RRS kit, I bought a set of Hedman long tubes, with the ball/socket collector, which is a great feature believe me.
Hedmans spec'd for a Maverick with a 302-351 & fit very well, only thing I had to do was move one pipe to clear my rack & pinion steering shaft.
The Hedmans were on sale for 165 bucks too- # 88300 or 88308;s if I recall correctly
