About an hour south of it.....about 90 mins or so from KC and a little more than that from Wichita.

buidling away

Any updates on your build?
I;m about to install an aftermarket EFI, but, deciding on fuel delivery, I don't like the frame mounted pump that comes with the kit.
Just read about Edelbrocks new EFI fuel delivery set up, mounts underhood & feeds off your mech.fuel pump into a sump, where a hi-pressure pump feeds the EFI unit, looks pretty interesting, & straightforward too, waiting for some user feedback on it

started in on some rust repair last spring. got only three days of work in so not alot of progress.

I took a step back and made the decision to let it sit instead of trying to rush it.

put a new SBC together for my S10 to get it back on the road (mostly needed to build something and my Cafe Bike Project was stalled and the Fairlane is 800 miles away)

Oh and here I am during the past winter/spring outage here at Wolf Creek

purfman:
How did you make out with the motor install, got her running yet?
Planned over the winter, sub frame connectors, interior work & EFI install, I hope
Not much traffic here, eh?

Sorry....been meaning to catch up on here....

So built that 350....got it in the truck and am just now getting in the process of it running and getting some bugs worked out.

Oh and I built another truck in the meantime...1982 Toyota that I built up from pretty much stock. 4.3 EFI Chevy motor, dual transfer cases, electric locking differentials, widened axle housings, bobbed bed, 37" tires, etc. The truck is a blast out here and will cruise at 75-80mph just fine.

I am parting out the S10 this spring to make room for my Fairlane at the new house....oh I forgot to mention I moved 2500 miles to Washington State last year and my Fairlane is still in TN. I did manage to sort and box all the parts up and moved most of them out here over the summer.
