'64 Fairlane 500 post,
'64 F'lane 500 H/T

Was looking for a 2dr post for quite a while. Couldn't find one. But I did find a '63 mercury Meteor S-33 H/T is good shape.

Since it's mine, it's a great looking car, and the best looking MY Meteor.

'64 all the way, baby. But you'd probably guess that from my screen name. Actually, I didn't really pick out my '64 so much as I happened upon it. I was looking for a classic Ford, my car came along, and it seemed like a great fit. Really though, I think I probably could have been just as happy with almost any year Fairlane. There aren't, to my eye, any ugly ducklings, and I am convinced that the Fairlane in general is an excellent example of the superiority Ford had over GM in the styling department in the 60's (other periods are another topic, but I don't think GM has ever truly dominated in styling).

don't think the 64 falcon-lane is the top choice Laughing , there's a reason they made the 66 the first year for GT's; 66/67 all the way!

seriously, there were no ugly 'lanes except the 65, and i'm still upset they used the torino to faze out the fairlanes.

Yes the 65 is an ugly duckling but still quality. Neighbor had a 65 sport coupe for sale for 3 k a couple of years ago and sold it fast.

66 GT

The 66 GTs were beautiful cars, A friend had one in high school . A66GTA rag top. The 66 fairlanes were made differant also to handle the bigger engines so FORD could compete with the other muscle cars. Except a good running 327 chevy could outrun a 390 GT up to about 80 mph. then the FORD would pass it.
